Ch. Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering & Technology¸ Panniwala Mota was formally inaugurated on 26 September¸ 2003.
It is named after Ch. Devi Lal¸ the former deputy Prime Minister of India and also the former Chief Minister of Haryana.
The Chaudhary Devi Lal Memorial Government Engineering College¸ Panniwala Mota¸ Sirsa was established to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of Engineering education with focus on new frontiers of technology¸ and to achieve excellence in the connected fields.
The college is situated at Panniwala Mota¸ district Sirsa (Haryana). It is about 270 Kms. from Delhi on Delhi-Sirsa- Fazilka National Highway (NH-10) and 22 Kms. from Sirsa on Sirsa-Dabwali road. It is at a distance of about 250 Kms. from Chandigarh. It is well connected by road.
