DESCRIPTION :

Annai Women?s College is the brain child of the Trustees of Annai Sri Aurobindo Educational Trust(ASAET)¸ karur. The Trust was incepted in the year 2006 with lofty ideals of giving higher education in Arts and Science and Paramedical Education to the young women living in and around karur. The college was started with an objective of offering job oriented courses such as B.Com(CA)¸ B.Sc(Computer science)¸B.Sc(Mathematics)¸BCA and also traditionally popular courses like BA(Tamil)¸ and BA(English). The college is affiliated to the Bharathidasan University¸ Thiruchirappalli. BBA degree courses were introduced from the academic year 2010 ? 2011 & 2012 ? 2013.Post Graduate courses MA(English)¸ M.Sc(Mathematics) and M.Com(CA) were introduced from the academic year 2012 ? 2013. B.Sc(Physics) and B.Com degree courses and M.Sc(Computer Science) post graduate course were introduced from the academic year 2014 ? 2015.

The First Naissance day celebration of Annai Women?s College was presided over by Mr.C.Sylendra Babu I.P.S.¸ IG of Police Karur. The College was shifted to its own newly built building at Punnamchatram¸ Karur on 1st july 2009 and also Nursing in 2010.

The Trust is also extending free education to the wards of the economically poor students. Old age home started and run by Karur Charitable Trust at our donated place within our campus.
