DESCRIPTION :

Asan Memorial College of Arts & Science is one of the premier self-financing¸ co-educational institutions in Chennai. It was established in 1994 and is governed by the Asan Memorial Association. The College was formally inaugurated by his Excellency Shri. K. R. Narayanan¸ then Honourable Vice President of India in the presence of his Excellency Mr. Vakkom Purushothaman¸ then Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar.

From its humble beginnings in 1994¸ with just 4 undergraduate courses and 6 faculty members¸ the college has now grown to offer 10 Under Graduate courses (Arts¸ Science and Commerce) and 4 Post Graduate Courses (Science¸ Management) and 2 Research programmes (Science). The College also introduced Shift II in 2010¸ offering UG courses in Commerce¸ BBA and BCA.

The cherished goal of this institution is to nurture excellence in education.
