Mata Harki Devi Memorial Institutions at village Odhan are catering to the educational needs of the rural area from nursery to post graduation. To meet the need for competent and quality teachers¸ our worthy chairman S. Hardayal Singh¸ who is always striving to promote education for women¸ especially in the remote rural areas of the state¸ decided to establish a ?Teacher Education College? with its identification as Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women ? Odhan. The college came into existence in 2006 with the initial intake of 100 students under the Presidentship of Ch. Bharat Singh. In 2007-08 the intake was increased to 200. The college is affiliated to Choudhary Devi Lal University.

The teething troubles of the institution were to overcome by the honourable president¸ who with his pragmatism¸ administrative acumen and exceptional enthusiasm led the institution from the front. He is assisted by vice-president¸ Sh. Girdhari Lal Bissu¸ and other eminent members of the committee.
