Under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism¸ Govt. of Uttrakhand GIHM was setup in the year 1982 to provide students with the best possible opportunity to acquire relevant¸ up to date knowledge of the subject area of hotel and tourism management and to develop skills appropriate to their present and future needs.
