Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University was founded in 2018 by Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust¸ Established Under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 & Approved by Chhattisgarh Private University Act¸2005¸ ?to promote the public welfare by exercising an influence in behalf of humanity and civilization.?

His Holiness Shri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj decided to build a university as the most fitting memorial. The university campus is located in Raipur¸ capital of Chhattiagrh. The SRU made their plans just as the modern research university was taking form. At SRU we benchmark only against the best institutions around the world.
